How To Get Started With Yoga

Weather you want to do yoga for weight loss,

or to help with flexibility.

Yoga is a poplar form of exercise.

How do you get started with yoga?

Can I get started at home or do I have to go to a gym?

Do I need any equipment?

How to get started with yoga

Start with deciding when and where you want to do yoga.

You will need about 15 to 30 minutes per session.

However, you should plan to do a least 1 longer session per week.

Make yoga a habit. If only for 15 minutes a day, you can do it everyday.

But if you miss a day, that’s okay just get started again the next day.

Yoga at home or in the gym

You can absolutely do yoga at home.

A good book to use is Yoga for Dummies.

Or find a good beginner video online to help you become familiar with the poses.

However, you may also want to find a local class, maybe in a gym.

It’s always good to get help from an instructor.

What about equipment

As with starting any exercise program, having good comfortable clothing is the first thing.

It is possible to do yoga at home or at a gym without any equipment, but why would you?

You’re gonna want to make exercise a habit or routine in your life.

So you should make it as easy, enjoyable, and as comfortable as possible.
