Teaching others how to do things will always bring in sales.
This is basis of a good company.
There will always be something you don’t know how to do and something that you can teach someone else how to do.
So while sales bring in the money. What brings in the sales?
Good content brings in the sales. Ok, so what is content?
For the longest time, this was my question. I didn’t have a clue what content was or where it came from.
What is content? – Simply put content is information that can help your audience improve their business or their life in some way.
Where does it come from? – The best content comes from you. Content that is in your own words will build trust with your audience.
So how do you create this content?
One way that works well for me, is something that a mentor of mine called ‘Learn, Do, Teach‘
In business, you will always need to learn something. This will help keep your business fresh and current.
Lets say you learn a new way to schedule posts to your blog from your phone. That might save you time and it could allow you to be more mobile. This is the Learn part.
This is helpful to you in your business, so you decide to use it to save time and allows you to be more mobile. This the Do part.
Now that you have used this new idea that saves you time and helps you be more mobile, you decide to share this idea with others. This is the Teach part.
When you teach this to your audience, you can create a post for your blog, or maybe a video, or put it on Facebook or Twitter.
The teaching part is what becomes your content, and will help you build trust with your audience and later down the road will lead to more sales.
Consistent good content + Consistent growth of your audience = Sales
