Lose Weight Naturally

Are you trying to lose weight naturally? So am I. Many of us are.

There are many things you can do to lose weight naturally,

besides a fad diet and exercising once in a while.

You need to have proper planning and a lot of determination.

You don’t need me telling you how to lose weight naturally.

However, what I will do, is tell you what has worked for me,

because what you really need is to find what works for you.

Losing weight naturally will be different for everyone.

Keep looking, because somebody somewhere has tried something that will work for you too.

Good luck!

I’m not going to tell you if you follow this plan you are going to lose X amount of pounds. I’m just not allowed to do that.

I’m not a big diet person, so it’s hard for me to stick to a diet, plus I like to eat.

I become bored easily with certain exercises.

And I work overnight so it seems like I never get enough sleep.

Diet, exercise, and sleep are the 3 core areas, that you can control to lose weight naturally and live a healthy life.

Exercise

If you really want to lose weight naturally, there’s no way to escape from regular exercise and activity.

Doing a mix of mild and hard physical activity will help you lose and control your weight naturally.

Exercise helps lessen stress and raise your energy, mood, and sleep quality.

It lowers the risk of chronic diseases like Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, strokes, and some cancers.

I find it best to set a certain time in my day, so I can’t say ‘I  don’t have enough time.’

Do you need to exercise 2 hours everyday? Hey, if that works for you, go for it!

Exercise – what works for me

For me, I try to exercise 15 to 30 minutes everyday when I first wake up.

I like to walk, do yoga, I even try to park the car on the other side of the parking lot.

If you fit exercise into your lifestyle, instead of saying I don’t have the time.

It might not seem to hard to do.

Find the activity or activities that you work for you, change them up every now and then.

Find something you can stick with.

Diet

A healthy and low calorie diet is a very important part of losing weight naturally.

We’ve all been told to eat more fruits, and vegetables, and to stay away from junk food, sugar and salt.

However, we have also been told to eat more fiber and protein, but less carbohydrates.

Next week, it will be something different. So now, you’re just confusing me.

Diet – what works for me

I read the labels, not the ingredients, but the numbers. I’m a guy, so I like numbers.

How much sugar? How many calories? What is the serving size? Those numbers.

And guess what, I hate reading labels, but it works.

It’s not perfect, I still eat too many cupcakes, but I’m getting better.

Cheat Days

I quick word about those cheat days or cheat meals.

You only live once, so eat what you like, in moderation of course.

That means you can’t eat bacon all day everyday,

but you don’t have to eat tofu all day everyday either.

Your diet needs to become your lifestyle and that’s not something you should cheat on.

Sleep

Getting proper sleep and relaxation is very important for losing weight naturally.

Not getting enough sleep can make you snack more late at night.

Too tired for regular exercise, you might need more sleep.

A lack of sleep can stop you, from losing weight naturally, all together.

It’s recommended that you get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night, but again, find what works for you.

Sleep – what works for me

Sleep is something I’m still working on.

I follow a sleep routine that helps make sure I’m relaxed enough to fall asleep fast.

The last thing I want, is to be tossing and turning, especially, if I’m only getting a 2 hour nap.

My sleep is broken up into pieces because of my overnight work schedule.

2 hours here, 4 hours there,

but I do try to get a least one good day or night of 8 hours in a week.

No matter what! You need to be rested.

When I was younger, I didn’t think I needed the sleep. I wish I had that sleep back now.

Even if you don’t feel like you need the rest.

Your body needs a certain amount of time to recover.

Sleep is that recovery mode. Your body still works even when your sleeping.

Give it a break once in a while.

Nap

The other day I was reading about a gym charging for naps.

The gym had a class for busy parents to exercise for 15 minutes and nap for 45 minutes.

There’s a business I need to be in.

Imagine paying money to get a nap. When the kids were little, I would have done it in a heartbeat.

Check back later, I’m sure, I’ll still be working on how to get more sleep.

Water

I know above I said there were 3 core areas that you can control to lose weight naturally.

Actually, there are many, but diet, exercise and sleep are 3 of the biggest.

However, I can’t ignore water.

Drinking water throughout the day helps your body wash out toxins.

It also makes the body burn fat faster.

8 to 10 glasses of water may be what is suggested, but start with, what works for you.

Eating fruits and vegetables that are full of water, can help, if you don’t like drinking water.

Water – what works for me

Water is that is one of the most important pieces to your diet.

Something my younger self should have known.

Think about what you do with water outside of your diet.

You use to clean the car.

You use to clean your house.

You use to cook with.

Doesn’t it make sense to use to clean your body. (I’m talking about the inside of your body.)

I hope you are using it on the outside also.

Cutting Calories

One more thing, it’s an easy way to cut calories because water doesn’t have any calories in it.

I turn water and exercise into a game.

The more I exercise, the more calories I burn.

The more water I drink. These are calories not being added during the day.

With all these calories I’m burning or not using. I should be able to eat more. Right?

Not sure, if it really works that way, but it makes me happy.

Calories are important. don’t waste them.

Lose Weight Naturally

Eat less, exercise more, get regular sleep, and drink plenty of water.

Lose weight naturally for a healthy life.
