As a parent, you always want the best for your kids and you always try to give the best that you can give.
The other day, my son’s car broke down on his way to work.
It was much easier for me to help him because of having a home based business.
Helping the kids learn the daily activities of life is a lot of fun for me.
I am so grateful for having this business because it allows me to be in more activities with my kids, and when they need something from me, I can almost always be there to help them.
On this particular day, the radiator overheated on his car. Now he has road-side assistance, however, he broke down during rush hour and was not on the highway yet.
This meant that assistance was not going to be there for over an hour. He didn’t want to take a personal day and is only limited on the number days he can work from home.
Here comes the call to dad, always happy to help, at 6:30 in the morning I was not ready to be happy yet.
Anyway, to make this story shorter, my wife and I were able to drive to him and let him borrow our car for the day, so he would not miss work.
We also were able to help with the repairs, it seems repairing a radiator can be costly.
In my previous job, one or both may have missed a day of work and may not have the money to repair the car right away.
Bottom line is I am grateful for my business, because it allows me to live the life I choose and I am available to help others.
Besides helping the kids, I also like helping others create a business where they can live the life that they choose also.
